Magic and Mayhem of Echo Isles Guild Charter:
Guild Goals:
We seek to maintain a friendly environment which accepts all members despite their age and ability. We want to achieve a high standard of End Game Raiding, PvP, and member involvement.
Conduct:
- Have Fun
- If you intend on having a raid career here, than you need to be somewhat consistent and reliable, otherwise you’ll be overlooked.
- Respect your fellow guildies regardless of your opinions, we reserve the right to remove any problematic players.
- Represent your guild in a good way, don’t be a jerk, don’t ninja loot and don’t spam channels, again we reserve the right to remove problematic players.
- No "F-Bombs" in guild chat.
- Help your fellow guildies, we’re a guild for a reason, if you help your guild, your guild will help you.
- I’ll say it again, HAVE FUN! We’re a group that likes a laugh and have a good time, so we demand that you do also!
- No begging - for gold, for runs or for anything else. Earn what you have.
- No bitching about loot.
- No bitching about raid spots.
- YOU NEED TO SIGN UP FOR RAIDS!
- Do not have applications in with other guild while in this one, you do not get to leech off of us while you look somewhere else, its not fair to the members. We have a zero tolerance policy regarding this. You app with another guild, you WILL be removed from M&M with no questions asked.
Instances and Groups:
The members in Magic and Mayhem will make every effort to include all members in instances and groups. Members for instance groups will be selected based upon one of two criteria.
-
- Who is online at the time the party is formed.
-
- Whoever signs up on the website calendar, until the group is full, will be assured a spot in the group. The one exception is raiding, with raiding all members need approval for the run. This is done to ensure we have the correct raid makeup to be successful.
-
- Signing up for any run, instance or raid, constitutes a committment to be online and ready to go at the appointed time, and also to stay for the duration of the run. No shows are going to be penalized 5 DKP points OR the amount of DKP points awarded to the raid that night, whichever is greater. Members that leave before the run is complete will not receive the participation DKP for that run. We do realize that this is a game, and life sometimes has to take priority. Exceptions may be made under special circumstances, at the discretion of the guild officers. Habitual offenders will be permanently disqualified from participating in future raids.
We will from time to time form parties with a lower level member to get them some practice at what is involved in an instance party. If you are a lower level member and would like help in an instance feel free to contact anybody, even higher level members, to assist you. We encourage all members who are not in an instance already to try and assist their fellow guild members in quests and instances when possible. We do not encourage or endorse power leveling; we will not run members through instances repeatedly just so they can level. DON'T EVEN ASK! We do however encourage all members to invite members who they do not normally group with in to parties so we can get to know each other better and become one cohesive family. We would like this guild to be an inclusive one and not exclusive with a feel of more a family than a military unit. With everybody’s willingness and cooperation we believe that this is a goal that we can achieve.
Guild Bank:
You can request and donate to the guild bank. We accept all donations – equipment, mats and money. Items given to you from the bank should be used and not sold on the auction house. The bank is managed by Destructrice/Felexi. For any information on the guild bank, feel free to contact him (or any officer) in-game. All guild bank material is to be used to benefit and strengthen the guild as a whole. This includes providing members with equipment upgrades and providing raw materials for tradeskill improvement etc. (ores, herbs, skins, etc) All guild bank donations are strictly voluntary. However a viable guild bank is a powerful tool and donations are strongly encouraged. Priority for guild bank funds, equipment and materials will be given to those that donate over those that do not. If you have any items that you would like to donate to the bank, please send them via ingame mail a toon named Mnmbank. This toon was specifically created to handle all mail and bank overflow.
Raid Looting: 10 Man Content
All Raids will have looting set to the Master Looter setting. The threshold will be set to Rare. In the event that a rare item drops, it will be collected and placed in the guild bank except if it happens to be some kind of recipe, plans or pattern that is specific to a particular profession or class in which case only those that possess that profession (or of that class) should roll for it. In the event that a BOE recipe, plan or pattern (or specific class item) drops and there are no members of that class or possessing the associated profession, the drop will be retained by the Master Looter and placed in the guild bank.
Since we are trying to build a raiding TEAM, from time to time it may be neccessary for an Epic drop to be awarded to a party member based upon a need situation. (need before greed!!) If there is a question regarding whether the epic item is an upgrade or not, the entire group decide. The overall goal is to ensure that ALL raiding members are receiving upgrades, not just one or two who are on a lucky streak when rolling. If such a situation arises, the Master Looter will inform the group of the intent to award the drop to a particular player and forgo the roll. (It is a very rare occourance, but it doesn't happen every so often) Please remember, the people around you are your team and there is no "I" in team. We want to make sure that all players are getting gear for future end game encounters.
With regards to tier tokens: All party members may roll on a tier token for their class UNLESS they have already received their token in a previous run.
If an Epic drops that no one in the current party can use and there is an enchanter in the group, the drop will be disenchanted and the shard/crystal will be retained for the guild bank. If there should happen to be two shards/crystals from one drop, one shard will be given to the highest roller. The second shard will be passed to the Master Looter and will be retained for the guild bank.
